Set along TX-24 outside Paris, Mustang Creek RV Park makes a comfortable home base if you're hunting for an RV park near Sulphur Springs, Texas. You get full hookups, a level site, clean bathrooms with real showers, and quiet nights where nobody bothers you. Sulphur Springs and the rest of Hopkins County sit close enough for an easy day trip up the highway, then you come back to a park that stays peaceful after dark.

Anglers and paddlers usually point their trucks toward Cooper State Park - South Sulphur Unit, where the water and open space make for a long, unhurried day. Lake Sulphur Springs and Lake Coleman are worth the drive if you'd rather spend the morning on the shoreline with a rod and a thermos. Kiwanis Falls is a pleasant stop to stretch your legs, and Coleman Park or Buford Park give the kids somewhere to burn off energy before the ride back.

For a slower afternoon, the Southwest Dairy Museum and the Hopkins County Historical Society & Museum are good places to duck out of the heat, and the Hopkins County Veteran's Memorial is a quiet stop many folks are glad they made. Great place to stay. We stayed long term overall enjoyed it. No one bothered us. Showers clean & nice compared to a rv shower. Nice picnic & bbq area. No individual picnic tables at sites. Dog friendly.

Absolutely an amazing place to live I was driving an hour and a half at three in the morning and I had family friends recommend coming here and it has been absolutely amazing and wonderful I have two pets that love going on walks and everyone is so nice!so glad I’m close to work now

We had a funeral to attend in Paris and wanted to spend a little time with family. Mustang Creek RV Park had spots available on short notice. We were able to get a pull through spot since we knew we would be late arriving. I had just pulled out my phone to use as a flashlight when the camp host, Sammy, pulled up using his car as a light for us! Being well after hours, we did not expect such hospitality. He stayed until we were completely hooked up and leveled. When we come back, we will definitely be staying here because of the proximity to Paris and the facilities, but mainly because of the very helpful and friendly Sammy.
